We Stand in Support of....

As you may or may not have seen a few weeks back, the Red Roof brand issued the following statement:

RRI West wants to remind everyone that our policies completely align with Red Roof’s statement above. Specifically, our policies apply to all employees, guests and outside vendors. As described in our handbook: We will not tolerate sexual advances, comments, or any other inappropriate conduct in the workplace. Similarly, the use of racial or religious slurs or any other such remarks will not be tolerated. Some other activities that are prohibited because they clearly are not conducive to a good work environment are: (1) threats (2) bullying, and (3) violent behavior. Additionally, RRI West will not tolerate discrimination of any kind or sexual harassment.

Any associate who feels that he or she, or one of our guests or vendors, is a victim of discrimination or harassment or who witnesses any such asct of discrimination or harassment, by any Supervisor, member of management, other associate, guest, supplier, or any other person in connection with employment at the company, should bring the matter to the immediate attention of his or her Supervisor, or utilize the Open Door Policy which allows an associate to pursue a complaint with any level of the organization, including: Regional Management, Senior Leadership, the Human Resources Department or the Legal Department. Likewise, associates witnessing any form of discrimination directed at other associates and/or guests should immediately report any such incidents.

All allegations of discrimination, harassment or retaliation will be taken seriously and be promptly investigated in as confidential a manner as possible. Appropriate action will be taken if warranted. During the investigative process, every associate is expected to cooperate fully. Anyone who, after an investigation, is determined to have engaged in any form of discrimination, harassment or retaliation in violation of RRI West policy, will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination. *for a copy of the full policy, please refer to your employee handbook in UKG Pro >> Company Info
