Paychex Update – It’s Official!!!

We know many of you are and have been working diligently to get your folks registered in Paychex – and on behalf of your HR team – WE APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH for helping your employees through this process!


For those who still have employees that need to get registered and complete the onboarding tasks, don’t worry – we’ve got a little bit of time. Yesterday marked the beginning of the current pay period, so we’ve got at least another week to make sure all of your employees get into Paychex.


For those who have employees punching in/out of Paychex – KUDOS TO YOU!!! Below are some additional activities you and your employees can complete to continue learning the system.


***Check your Tasks***

When you log into Paychex, you should land on your Dashboard. In the middle of the page is a section named Tasks (the sections are referred to as “Tiles”).

If you have any tasks listed, click on the link and complete all required fields (required fields are indicated by a red asterisk (*). Click Save.


Don’t have any tasks? GREAT! That means you’ve officially completed all of your onboarding tasks!


***Check your Upcoming Events***

On your dashboard, there is another tile named Upcoming Events. This tile includes 2 dates; the best day of the year (YOUR BIRTHDATE 😊) and the 2nd best day of the year (YOUR ANNIVERSARY DATE 😉). Please check and confirm the dates showing for you are correct. If they aren’t please let your Manager know. Managers, please forward that information to Tamara Ross (tamara.ross@rriwest.com) and Kelly McCloud (Kelly.mccloud@rriwest.com) so that we can update the system.
