MIBE VIBE

A couple of years ago, the RRI West Leadership team attended a virtual leadership day with our outside leadership coach, Greg Aden.  One of the speakers was a gentleman named Anthony Lambatos, who runs a catering business in Denver, CO.  He and his team created MIBE: Make It Better Every Day!  And it was then that RRI West decided to adopt this philosophy.  We liked it so much, even considered changing the name to something else for RRI West, but ultimately decided to honor Footers Catering by adopting the MIBE name and create our own MIBE VIBE here at RRI West.

So, what does "Make It Better Every Day" mean?  It represents the heart of a team who are universally striving to do whatever it takes to improve the RRI West business each and every day!  With a heart leadership mind, an empathetic approach to management and self-accountability and integrity, our passion for results will surely come shining through.

So welcome to RRI West MIBE VIBE!  You will see us present our monthly MIBE in today's Gazette and going forward to think, ponder and share with others to keep the MIBE going!

Today's MIBE VIBE:

Fall seven times, stand up eight!

It is August, the eighth month of the year.  Many of us are preparing for back to school, the official start of football season, and maybe looking forward to pumpkin spice lattes, cool nights and fall foliage.

From a business perspective, the eighth month brings us Q2 bonus payouts, the starting discussions around budgets for the new year (yes, it actually starts that early), for some, the start of many upcoming fall events at our locations and for others, the start of pulling back labor hours as we head out of our busy summer season.

However, for all of at RRI West, the eighth month can be a time of reflection and renewed energy that we all got from the summer sun 😉... to really begin to push through to the end of 2024.  As many of you know - revenues continue to be challenging.  Budgets continue to be tight.  And even if you are a property that has continued to be down in numbers for the first seven months of the year... stand up in this eighth month and realize, there is still time to Make It Better Every Day!

What can you do to stand up that eighth time in the eighth month to begin your MIBE?   The challenge is on!
