May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Human Resources

The past year has been like none other and for many, moving forward sounds a lot easier said than done. We know the precautions to take to be as physically healthy as possible; continue to wash our hands, wear masks when appropriate (or mandated), physically distance when necessary. AND an important component of healing from the challenges of the past year is ensuring our mental health is just as healthy as our physical. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to mental health; by design, it is specifically tailored to each individual.

May is Mental Health Awareness month and this year, the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) is continuing to amplify the message of “You Are Not Alone.” If you, your employees or loved ones are struggling, you are not alone! NAMI, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization has many free programs and services near you. Visit www.nami.org to learn more. Additionally, we have an Employee Assistance program available free to all employees! Your mental health is important to all of us at RRI West and your supervisor, leadership team and human resources are all available for support as well.
