Please remember when a PTAC or AC fails, DO NOT REMOVE THE UNIT UNTIL THE REPLACEMENT ARRIVES.
This will avoid an empty sleeve which will let in insects and unwanted critters along with all the air from the outside which could cause mold or freezing conditions in the wintertime.
