With the recent rollout of our RM Pro Work Order System, the capital approval process has changed a bit so we wanted to clarify a few things for you all.
For all non emergency capital items, we will still have our bi weekly capital approval calls on Tuesdays

Our main supplier for pest services is Ecolab Pest. Orkin services a few locations too. Both vendors have a guarantee for cockroach or rodent (mouse or rat) sightings. In the event of a guest reporting a valid live cockroach or rodent sighting in their room, which results in the hotel refunding the guest’s charges for the night, Ecolab or Orkin will apply a credit to your account. It is imperative that the sighting is reported to your vendor within 24 hours by contacting their 800# and your local technician. You will need to verify the adjustment to your billing was made. It is critical to be diligent with demanding resolution to all pest issues in a timely manner. If there are any unresolved issues with your pest service at any time, please notify Jon Baaske. If you are under contract with a local pest vendor please familiarize yourself with their guarantee and follow through on requesting credit where applicable.
Specific language:
Ecolab Cockroach and Rodent Program Guarantees. (Cockroaches, Rats and Mice)
General Guarantee: Ecolab guarantees that while Customer is using Ecolab’s continuing services to control Rodents and Cockroaches, those Covered Pests will not become established on the treated premises. If, after Ecolab treats a Customer’s facility for those Covered Pests, that facility continues to have an infestation of any of those Covered Pests, then Customer will have no obligation to pay Ecolab for those services until such time as the infestation is eliminated to the Customer’s reasonable satisfaction, and then Customer’s normal billing will resume.
Ecolab Premium Plus Guest Room Program Guarantee.
For Customer's electing to use Ecolab's Premium Plus Program, Ecolab will implement a proactive room visual-only inspection for bed bugs in key harborage locations and targeted product applications to help reduce the likelihood of pest activity. Customer acknowledges that this is a cursory inspection and is not a guarantee that evidence of bed bugs will be found, even if bed bugs are present. Customer acknowledges that bed bugs can be brought into an area at any time and no treatments can prevent bed bugs from being brought into a facility.
In the event a live cockroach is found by a guest we ask that the GM refund the guest and we will provide a credit for the amount of refund to the location and apply it to the monthly bill.
ORKIN COMMERCIAL SERVICES
Should a guest see a roach, rat or mouse in your establishment after 60 days of service, Orkin will repay you the reasonable charges. This must be requested through the respective branch and regional office.
